Katharine qualified as a state registered physiotherapist in 1985.
She is also a lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University
Katharine qualified as a physiotherapist in 1985 and is a Director and practice manager of City Physio. She has gained extensive clinical and teaching experience in both the NHS and private sector with a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions. She has been a quest speaker at GP seminars including the British Elbow and Shoulder Society.
Katharine was a senior lecturer for 11 years at Sheffield Hallam University and MSc post-graduate course leader, whilst continuing her clinical practice. She has lectured on BSc physiotherapy programme, MSc Advanced Manual Therapy and Sports programmes as well as leading the revalidation process for the MSc programme. She was also appointed to appraise and make recommendations for the postgraduate international course; IMTA's (International Maitland Teachers Association) curriculum in relation to IFOMPT (International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists) educational standards in Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapy and developing a MSc programme.
